Bibiano Fernandes defeats Yoshiro Maeda, maintains winning 13-3 record
Congratulations to Bibiano Fernandes, and his friend and MMA advisor Mak Takano, for winning his second bout since becoming Dream Bantamweight Champion in 2011. The event, Dream 18 & Glory 4 held at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan on New Years Eve 2012, featured 40 international fighters in 8 MMA matches and a Heavy Weight Kickboxing Tournament won by Dutch fighter Semmy Schilt.
Bibiano has recently signed a long-term deal with ONE FC, Singapore’s largest MMA organization, and turned down an Ultimate Fighting Championship offer to focus on defending his championship belt in Asia.
Mak continues to train some of the world’s greatest fighters in tandem with American Boxing Trainer, Freddie Roach, including WBA Welterweight Champion Viacheslav Senchenko. Greens Plus Powders, Energy Bars and Protein Bars are a fundamental part of Mak’s nutritionally-supervised program for pre- and post-fight fitness.
